finally moved everything from hall back home. it feels good somehow to have all my belongings back in one place, and it definitely feels oh-so-good staying home.
the holidays always bring about a clash of things, it's like you got all the time in the world and i love slacking around doing absolutely nothing, but i also absolutely hate the scheduling of where to go/what to do/who to meet, i'm like trying to avoid shopping malls 'cos they're so damn boring! and then meeting old friends, unless you book them a few days or even weeks in advanced, it's hard to find a common day because all the schedules clash!
the funniest thing is sometimes without even planning, everything falls in nicely. like how a phonecall for supper happens, and the likes.
and i have not started looking for a job yet, this is HOW lazy i am. only have this one-week job as a guide for some event, but after that don't know do what also.
SO anyway, we went to the art museum!
we went during lunch hour, so it was free admission! the first time during the week i actually woke up before lunchtime.
couldn't take pictures inside the galleries, so this was the best we managed. LOL
they have really interesting paintings there, and it's really like a break from fast-paced urban life, 'cos when you view a picture you're suppose to step back and absorb all its nuances and stuff, give your own intepretation of what the artist is trying to convey in that painting.
spent a coupla hours in the museum, then we came across project: eden near cityhall mrt station- a "garden" with brooms as trees, toilet brushes as flowers and paper clips as insects! really pretty and creative, methinks.
slacked at raffle's starbucks while waiting for jansen to join us for dinner.
after dinner, priscilla left and we headed to timbre for some drinks!
it's my second time there, but the first time isn't exactly counted 'cos i was there for a flea market. timbre's a great place to chill out! i would go back again soon anytime.
just see how happy jansen is!
the next day i caught Spiderman 3 with huisi, adelene and erienne at ps, and we ate at hongkong cafe with flannery and his friend whom i bumped into after the movie. another first time for me, i would be back at hongkong cafe anytime, i love their iced honey green tea! thanks flannery for treating us all! (:
had supper with yongsheng and his friend after that, like FINALLY after how long of having our schedules clash lah.
am going for my first driving lesson tomorrow, so EXCITING hahaha.
