sunday at the beach with the family (:

treated the family to dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday, my mum's birthday (they're exactly a month apart) and mother's day all in one! although quite belated, but see i so smart (:

there was this sandcastle exhibition of sorts at the beach, and there were pretty little castles everywhere, and this guy was teaching a small crowd how to make nice nice castles. i miss making sandcastles!

an attempt to get the whole family into a shot (:

s' funny, but working life has made me miss and treasure my family more. maybe everyone's growing up/older so we're mellower (?), but it's like i'm really making sure i take time out to spend time with the family over dinners and all. oh but one thing i look forward to that we do together almost everyday, watching tv!

the week was pretty eventful, what with meeting up with friends and stuff, and of course the night cycling (!) where we cycled from 10pm to almost 7am the next day, and from east coast to geylang to esplanade to tanjong pagar then back to east coast! like seriously how can a girl like me who doesn't even exercise on a regular basis manage all that and not die halfway? but i'm really, really appreciative of the guys like eugene and liecong who helped me with the pushing the bike up and down the bridge and stuff (:

and then there was shopping with my girls - ade and huisi, it was really fun shopping, we all bought stuff and felt good after that (well except for ade 'cos she spent too much haha), that's why it's called retail therapy!

love ya girls many!

so, one too many experience has shown that whenever i feel like contacting (insert name of guys-who-keep-me-awake-at-night-by-refusing-to-leave-my-thoughts) even after there's nothing anymore, i should resist and not sms him or whatever. because after awhile, the urge to contact him will be gone and i'll only be glad i didn't contact him.

june 8th's gonna be when we'll be getting results for both our exams and application for hall, i (sort of) can't wait!

back to work tomorrow, nights world! :D

a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
