i must be the ficklest (i know there's no such word but i like it better) person i know, just a week ago i was gonna say that work is boring (not cos of the stuff i've to do, which i actually like cos i love coming up with something out of nothing; but cos of the sheer routine of it all) and that i can't wait for school to start.

and then i do a 360 180 degrees turn and hope to start school soon, and now, i will actually miss work if school starts anytime soon.

confused? yah, me too.

it's like i absolutely HEART the people i've met at work? they're damn nice and fun and cool to be around with. okay maybe 'cos i'm just an intern so i won't get involved in all the office politics and whatever (i mean, no one really bothers about interns seriously except to pile us with shit-work haha) but all the temp and perm staff i've gotten to know are really interesting people, makes lunchtime and going to work so much fun =)

and these two days, there was this major event my company's involved in, and i got to see all these ministers and MORE importantly, DIANA SER!! =)

i mean, yah the ministers are very important people you see on TV, but DIANA SER?? she's like my ultimate role model?! she was doing emceeing for the dinner and my gawd, she looks absolutely stunning and sophisticated and is so eloquent! sigh! and she was just sitting at the table next to me! my gawd, she is so gush-worthy =)

so anyway. this guy at work got my supervisor to pass me his msn, and i'm like ???

turns out he's attached, as i very fortunately got to know from a colleague. but like wtf, seriously. you're attached so stay attached! what's with all the flirting around and passing girls your msn address??

t'is not the first time i encountered such a (for a lack of creativity and better word) jerk and i doubt it'll be the last. why can't guys just remain faithful and loyal?? can someone tell me why it's not surprising that i'm not attached?

if there's one thing i loathe, it's guys who are attached doing serious flirting. a guy friend just enlightened me to the kinds of flirting guys do. apparently attached guys do "light flirting" with pretty girls and that's normal, it's only when they do the serious and heavy one like going out and having dinner one-to-one then we can see the kind of person (read: jerk) they are.

and YES, he asked me out for dinner and movie and blabla. so like... whatever. i let him know that i knew he was attached so he had no choice but to come clean but he was all like, cos he has been attached for four (he told the colleague two and a half) years so getting abit bored (?) of the relationship thus the wandering eyes (and probably heart). i'm like seriously not gonna get myself involved in such again (?).

it really doesn't help that he's actually tall, tanned and pretty cute. ugh.

so the weekend was pretty eventful. eventful is a neutral word right? it just means there were events but it's doesn't say if it's good or bad right? cos saturday and sunday were pretty fine, but friday night was like... ahwells.

now don't get me wrong, i absolutely heart the girls and guys i hung out with at MOS on friday night but it was just... the whole atmosphere and mood la. just the wrong place at the wrong time and the wrong day to club. i think i only stayed in MOS for like two hours max? spent the rest outside slacking at macs and some hotel lobby haha.

but anyway GEANNIE babe, thanks for everything friday night okay. i knew you didn't enjoy yourself like me, but thanks for still hanging out and all. love you loads and we shall zouk soon okie =)

so i was saying, the weekend was pretty eventful. let me count thy ways, saturday (which was live earth day! i wore green!) i woke up at like 4pm and rushed down to cityhall to meet jared, jal and justin for dinner at breeks! chilled thereafter (bitched? gossiped? haha) at starbucks not before camwhoring and bumping into a few other mass comm peeps as well.

outside marina square.

after jared and jal left, i thought the night was still young (haha) and met kai for a movie, The Ex. though the reason we decided on The Ex was cos it was the only midnight show that wasn't selling fast, and though we have never heard of the movie before, it's actually pretty good! would recommend it to anyone. it is one romantic comedy that actually is worth your money (and time).

sunday, my girl HUISI's birthday! was busy organising the whole thing the whole week, and am glad it came through and was rather sucessful (: met the group at orchard - not before i actually got lost in ngee ann city hahaha. had dinner at heeren's vil'age and surprised huisi with a slice of chocolate cake! (though i doubt she was really surprised right hahaha) and had pool at cine after. thanks to adelene, derek and bingguang for making it a success too heh. and huisi, glad you enjoyed yourself! (:

the guys love the cows outside vil'age alot, as can be seen. LOL.
