human beings confuse me.

yes. i'm BACK. not exactly back with a vengeance, though that would probably be nice, but well, just, back.

i like thatwildflower too much to give it up for anything else.

had wanted to resume blogging here since my 21st, but haven't had the time. well, not having time seems to be the perfect excuse for everything, doesn't it. over-used but still pretty useable.

decided to resume because i need to feel contemplative again.

so a four-month hiatus, how have things changed? let thee count thy ways.

one, i have caught my first official R21 film, Lust Caution.

and two, i still dislike bathing.

i guess that pretty much sums it up.

exams are over and i have been taking the train pretty often. i like it when the train goes into the tunnel, and we are cut off from the world. no reception, no scenery, no lights, no thing, nothing, and you and i become strangely connected, strangers all going to a single destination, accompanied only by the howling of the train. or maybe Justin Timberlake's Lovestoned.

so, last day of the exams, with COM255 and idiosyncratic tutor behind our shoulders, i went for a much needed manicure-only five bucks! with nails all pretty and glossy, we headed to town for some board-games at Minds' Cafe, my first time too!

i thought the food was pretty good!

later justin and i met jingting and waimun at wisma to shop for cathryn's present!

the male models were simply too sizzling hot for us to resist. hahaha.

it was super crowded that night, NTU people were like everywhere, can't imagine how it would be like if NUS have had their exams over too. didn't get high and drunk (hadn't wanted to, anyway). ended the night with blisters on my feet (cuz of those darn pretty shoes i hadn't worn in a long time!) dancing to mambo is love (:

we had Fish n Co' at Wheelock's, and i'm really sorry for thinking it was at sixthirty instead of six!

hope you had a blast, jared! and hope you enjoyed the mini-surprise with the cake as well as the jacket we got you, i'm sure you do! :D

so that have been life for awhile after the exams, and i've been sleeping at 5am and waking up at 4pm, and there's still so many things to do. for starters, planning the timetable for next semester is such a chore. and i'm gonna be taking up driving lessons again, this time under a female instructor, and i don't care what they say about female drivers; i have a feeling she is gonna be much better than my previous instructor (who was such a grumpy old man!)

having nothing to do is really nice, and watching TV all day is really nice too; and sometimes i wonder if i sit very still and focus, will things be just that bit different than it was, just by sheer willpower. but then, well, i'm not Hiro!
