Happy and Blessed
New Year 2008 everyone! (:

the past year has been a crazy one, one of wrecked emotions and tear-stained nights, where i thought i could fill the emptiness with late nights and alcohol and the wrong kind of guys. it was one without faith, one where the broad way seemed so easy and so right to walk on.

it was a year of memories, taking driving lessons, failing my first driving test, taking up an internship where i met and kept a few good friends, moving into my single room in hostel, getting over heartbreak after heartbreak, throwing my 21st birthday party, attending many 21st birthday parties, and attending church camp because my mother signed me up and despite not wanting to go initially, i went ahead anyway and it ended up being my best moment ever in 2007.

it was also a year where i saw my results rise slowly but steadily, and i only have God to thank for. this most recent semester i received my best results so far, and saw my cumulative GPA increase, and i'm just so grateful that He placed a good friend at my side in school who is ever so unselfish with her notes, advice and time. she shares willingly and cheerfully, and i'm really grateful to God for her presence in a place where many can get competitive and friendships may not be genuine.

Jingting, you may always tell me that you thank God for our friendship, but you don't know how much i thank God for you and how much i treasure you too! you've been a great sister-in-Christ, even at the times when i don't deserve it. hugs many(: ❤

we had watchnight service tonight, and as we counted down, as Pastor Rony said, we watched the old pass away, and the new replace the old. and Denise, i so regret not giving you a hug when you said goodbye just now after the service. but dear girl, you know i'll always be here for you, so be strong okay. here's many hugs for you (: ❤

i trust that 2008 will be a great year.
take care, and God bless, y'all!
❤❤❤

where it blooms

so let me be
a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
