i realise time in hall passes by like really quickly. like i can come back at about eight p.m after dinner thinking it's still early, and before i know it, it's already ten, and then twelve! so it means i have to GRAB HOLD OF MY TIME!!
the past few days have been pretty eventful and i'm officially in love with Bugis! not just Bugis itself as in the shopping mall, in fact i don't like shopping malls that much - but it's the perimeters of Bugis Junction that has me falling head over heels.
i was at Bugis over the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, and seriously the circumference of Bugis has beautiful streets and lanes, with its vintage and antique buildings that i just love to death! think back to the red/white buildings that Flannery said he grew up in, and there's all these lovely temples and buildings with paintings adorned on them lining the area!
and yesterday, my virgin trip to Haji Lane! i love that place to bits, it's a camera-worthy place, and it's just so beautiful! away from the bustle and hustle of town, no crowds (yes that is one winning factor for me!), and the shops there are really dainty and pretty! there was one shop selling all these retro stuff that got me gushing away, and then there was this shop where the shop-owners' two cats were strolling around casually inside the shop, it was just so quaint!
a pity my phone had no memory left so i couldn't take much photos, but i swear i'll go back there really soon, and armed with (probably a friend's) camera! :D
ok and this is not even Haji Lane, it's just a nearby temple. i love the colors, nonetheless
black and white photos at the retro shop

ohh the gold glistens! a new necklace i bought at Topshop just a few days ago.
vandalism in the lift! haha.
i really love pretty, colorful and quaint buildings. i think Singapore ought to have more of those, and not just plainly upgrade them to modern dullness!
jazzed up my hall room a tiny bit. i love sunflowers and black/white postcards!

a wild flower dies
where it blooms
so let me be
a wild flower
its death shall be
the fading of beauty
