it's been so many years and one fact remains -
bad boys still intrigue me (!!)
well, or at least them real-life depictions on drama serials.
think Sawyer in Lost, or more recently, Tay Pinghui's absolutely wonderful performance in that 9pm show now on Channel 8.
anyway it's no time thinking about bad boys or gushing over them, school has officially started (!)
the past couple of days have seen my mood go from anticipation to nervousness, then back and forth again. i don't know what to expect, but one thing i am expecting for sure would be change.
i was just thinking about it just now on my way back to hall, and then when i went over to a friend's room to borrow some double-sided tape, i almost got a shock when i saw him and a girl on his bed sitting closely together (just talking, mind you). he was single the last time i know, and he's happily attached now over the holidays! i'm really happy for him because he's a really nice guy, but at the same time i was like, there, the very first hint of the many more changes that would be coming this semester.
i know it might not be much of anything, but i like to look at little nuanced changes, they just interest me.
to be sure, about half the cohort are already gone from school, overseas somewhere wherever they are on exchange. it's going to be quite different now in school when i go for lectures and tutorials! sigh. but i'm just glad most of the people i hang out with are still around here in sg (:
long overdue pictures from december leading up to the new year,

a wild flower dies
where it blooms
so let me be
a wild flower
its death shall be
the fading of beauty
