ever since embarking on tertiary life, my planner has got to be my most prized possession.
it tells me what i have to do, when i have to get it done by, meetings to attend, deadlines to meet, friends' birthdays, examination dates - a week at a glance.
i guess i'm a stickler for plans, i'll die without a planner and if i have to remember all the nitty gritty details of day, time and place up here in my brain.
yay for planners!
but i just looked, and there's so many things to rush for this week already - 221 trend story, 254 term paper and presentation, 206 filming, as well as marketing presentation. and the nitty gritty includes having to sign up for special semester II, hall application, and Student Union's event.
ah! but such is the life of an undergrad, and i get my adrenaline running on having many things to do at once. just hope the stress doesn't get the better of me.
❤speaking of which, i'm attacked by the flu bug.
indeed, a planner comes in handy, but "
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth" - Proverbs 27:1
i have had my entire weekend planned out nicely, with steamboat dinners and birthday meals, but all has to be missed because of the flu.
but come to think about it, it might in fact be a blessing in disguise, because i get to stay home and have the whole day to myself, just doing my work.
works fine for me too (:
❤so yesterday was Good Friday, and tomorrow is Easter. two days which once again, leaves me in awe of His love and His grace. it's because He sent Jesus to die for our sins on the cross, and rise again on the third day, that we may come to the Father.
Thank You Lord.
❤i just have to say this, i can not believe that Mas Selamat has still not been caught.
ever since his escape on February 27th, for everyday after that i was expecting to receive news of his re-arrest.
but it's been almost a month now and still no news! even the newspapers stopped writing about him already.
yesterday at lunch with the parents, my dad and i were pseudo-debating about this whole race and religion issue. my dad can be pretty extremist in his conservative views (ironic? go figure), and these topics can get rather sensitive, so let's not go there.
but it'll be terrible if the country is divided because of race or religion. sigh.
i really wonder if we'll be able to re-capture Mas Selamat anytime soon, if at all.
not that i'm being pessimistic or lacking confidence in our Home Affairs, but you have got to take into account the "sleeper" crowd over here, and again, issues of race and religion.
❤in any case, now on to continue being busy!
