it's 8.25pm, meaning it's off-work hours for most, yet outside the construction workers are hard at work drilling the ground, yellow helmets and giant cranes aplenty, all for the lift-upgrading of my block.

my dad, for one, has taken a keen interest in the progress, and he loves standing around looking at the construction and even talking to the workers.

i don't know if they're running behind schedule hence the off-work hours, and nevermind about the noise at this time of the night - i salute them, nonetheless.

finally managed to meet up with jared and eugene today after so long! you guys should be honoured, i seldom meet people for lunch! haha.

that's eugene...

...and that's jared.

slacked at Long John's for quite some time with Eugene's laptop, and also were the first two to know Jared's results which were sent to him via SMS! (NTU should learn from NUS,really)

congrats, Jared on your good results this semester! (:

were debating which movie to watch, either Sex and the City, or The Chronicles of Narnia, and Jared got his wish - we caught Narnia, which turned out to be pretty good! and it was their treat too! hee thanks, guys.

i never was a fan of such shows, but this pleasantly surprised me heh. of course, having the three good-lookers - Prince Caspian and the two Kings, for some eye-candy were a bonus too, haha.

i used to pride myself on being quite the social butterfly, (schoolmates did call me that in JC) and i liked to think i could mingle and interact with ease, but now - short of saying i've become socially inept, i think i have become a little more socially awkward.

perhaps it's the growing up and maturing yadayada, but i think i've settled down into being quite comfortable in my own little comfort zone and, well, not really fancying widening that zone to invite more in.

but i still genuinely like people and don't mind making the sporadic new friend or two, i just doubt that i would go out of my way to meet new people nowadays.

the right side of my body is aching now from badminton with the family and boyfriend yesterday :( i really need to exercise more!!

and i am still craving for sushi even though i just had Sakae Sushi with the sister just the other day right after we visited Food Expo :/

so let me be
a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
