these days i get really bored when i'm online, there is an utter lack of intellectual stimulation in cyber space!

most people blog about their daily happenings, what they did, what they ate yada yada (yawn); granted-i do that sometimes too, but whatever happened to well written prose and intellectual musings?? friends whom i know who actually write well and think deep have ceased blogging regularly or stopped entirely.

no wonder paperbacks (and the library, for that matter) still thrive in today's society, at least you have some decent literature in there. the internet? you have to scour amidst heaps of trash just to get to a site worth spending your reading minutes on.

i am hungry for a decent piece of literature worth eschewing over, pieces of work where i can nibble on new ideas and thoughts, and which will actually make me think.

for now, i will stick to good old paperbacks and the occasional Time magazine to satiate that hunger, until i find a worthy online counterpart.

where it blooms

so let me be
a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
