i've an exam paper next wednesday on the boring-est (i know,no such word but i'm super sian to be gramatically correct la) topics ever - the History of Great Inventions. there're six modules altogether and i'm like halfway through the fourth module now and i just feel like chucking the notes down the shredder.
Joseph Swan was the first to produce the light bulb in the 19th century.
Michael Faraday discovered electromagnetic induction and the laws of electrolysis in the 19th century.
Charles Babbage designed and built the Differential and Analytical Engine that anticipated the modern electronic computer in the 19th century.
The numeric system was invented by Aryabhata in C.E 500.can you believe it?? we have to memorise like all the inventors' names, their inventions (duh) and when they did their thing. i think there might be like a hundred names to remember altogether??
yah i know, why did i even take up this module right? if i had a choice i would obviously rather not, but the only other option for special sem II was The Study of Electricity or something really freaky like that, so, there you have it.
you know how sometimes time doesn't just fly but it speeds past you faster than the speed of light (erm, pun not intended), and this is one of those very, very sian times :( like, you know you have to study but you're sian to do so, but time is passing by so quickly you'll have no time to study if you don't start already, but you're really feeling sian...... yah, you get my drift.
and justin, stop studying so fast la.
