Festival of Praise 2008

managed to find Esther and (her) Jonathan amidst the crowd, and we were just on time too!
praise & worship was led by Reuben Morgan of Hillsongs as well as Parachute Band, and Rev. Mark Connor shared the Word.it was indeed a time of refreshing for me and there was definitely no regrets at all to be attending FOP after (i think) a few years of missing the event. God's presence was definitely there with us and once again it hit me there and then that i'm weak and i need His strength, that i've been trying to handle too many things on my own, forgetting that He's always there, just waiting for me to ask Him for help, for me to let go, and let God. that even as the new semester begins and i get caught up with projects and quizzes and having to strike a balance with all aspects of my life, i should place all my trust and all my faith in Him. to not worry unduly or be axious about anything, but to seek His peace that transcends all understanding - all simple, basic truths that i've forgotten in the busy mill of life. and amidst all this, that He is a God to be revered, and a God to be glorified.
would definitely encourage every Christian to go for this event for that refreshing touch from God, it's still happening on saturday and sunday (2nd & 3rd aug) at the indoor stadium at 7.30pm. be there early to get good seats (and with an open heart too)! (:
boyfriend bought Parachute Band's and Hillsongs' latest CDs after, i'm waiting to listen to the songs! ;)

had a good meal at Old Airport Road before calling it a day ;)
