went jogging with the boyfriend in the evening just now, it feels good to sweat it out and finally doing some form of exercise after how long! and at the same time also making full use of my new shoes even after captain's ball (see below). haha.

me is happy that next week is recess week! and also that the modules i'm taking this sem has no midterm quizzes, just projects and deadlines. so don't need to study (for now at least) lol ;)

attended my dad's cousin's wedding dinner over the weekend. it was funny 'cos my dad and his siblings have lost contact with the cousin and her family for the past 30 years, so i guess it might have been just alittle awkward.

and i also discovered some long-lost relatives i never knew i had! haha. it just makes me wonder that i might be walking past someone on the street who shares the same bloodline as me but we'll never know it unless there's some get-together wedding dinner.

then the question, that blood-ties really mean nothing sometimes, no wonder there is this chinese saying, something like "having neighbours (or friends) nearby is better than having relatives far away (and whom you don't even know)". like i was telling Jonnie sometime back, that ultimately the person you're closest to on earth in the end will be your spouse, someone whom you have absolutely no blood relations with (better not have). lol.

the newly weds!

me in the toilet and my super long ponytail.
haha okay, my shawl.

with mommy!

the parents watching the video of the wedding photos.

and then on a bright and sunny sunday afternoon, we played captain's ball for Jonnie's church event :)

with huisi!

dennis!

khenghwee!

khenghwee trying to be funny haha.

the twintowers! guess which is Jonnie?

if you guessed the one in blue, you're right! ;)

Jonnie's pastor's son, super cute, who is also named Jonathan!

it was a nice way to spend a sunday- with sun, games, fun and friends, what more could one ask for? i know, food right;) and yup, we had Sakae Sushi after that, nevermind that we didn't win the 1st prize of $100 Sakae Sushi vouchers, but still it was a rewarding afternoon!

so let me be
a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
