monday morning, the family and i drove down to the zoo. yes, the zoo- a place which i had not stepped into for like, probably the past ten years or more. haha. it was more of a spontaneous decision, we wanted to go somewhere as a family, but my parents aren't the overseas kind of people, and deciding between sentosa and the zoo, the white tigers sealed it for us.
so to the zoo we went!

they are really majestic looking, even the lions pale in comparision to them can. haha. there was just a constant crowd at their enclosure, i guess everybody was trying to imagine the scene on that fateful day where the guy met a tragic death there.the warthogs! which my parents and sister kept saying how ugly they were. i can only remember them as being in the movie Lion King.
the baboons! they're my favourite... only because they're so lively and human-like. and i got to feed them too! (by throwing them bananas and carrots)
some of their red butts are really ugly la, super huge and looking like a brain or something right out of a gory movie.
and because the parents bought the ticket combo deal which includes the Night Safari, we'll be heading down there really soon too, probably around x'mas. haha, Animals R' Us!
