and we painted the street red,

so my first week (second for the rest) of internship is over and it's the WEEKEND!

i've never quite looked forward to the weekends this much, and to be able to sleep in and just laze your Saturday away is heavenly, i tell you.

anyway i can't quite imagine how i'm gonna survive in the corporate world in the (very near) future, like 8.30am-6pm every single day?! and the thing is NOBODY leaves the office on the dot (from my department, at least)- like the other day i left at 6.30pm and i'm actually the earliest to leave!

sigh. but anyhow i'm just so glad to have made it through this week, and then one more week and it'll be a long weekend with CNY! :D:D

so we headed to Chinatown after work on thursday! and it's really great that there is a straight bus to Chinatown from my office so i don't need to squeeze with the crowd.

my desk at the office, jazzed it up with some pretty postcards :)

another beautiful view from the office, this one at the 22nd level.

Chinatown!

what's CNY without some bright lights?

the girls in white (it wasn't planned). and i've long given up wearing my contacts to work. the air-con just dries up my eyes. sigh.

the guys. hmm i wonder why dennis is SO happy? ;)

caught Seven Pounds with huisi last night and it was pretty good, save for the fact that i would have rather the movie dwelled more on certain characters. but nonetheless both of us did shed some tears and i like shows that can make me cry. OH and i also absolutely love the soundtrack, i'm so going to visit the CD store for it :)

i also just checked my NTU webmail and apparently i'm offered a place in hall for this semester?! but wrong timing la :( i hope i can get a place next semester, though.

heading off for East Coast with the boy in an hour's time :) enjoy the weekend, all!

a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
