hello hello i just got back from lunch and i'm a happy happy camper. before lunch i was terribly cranky, bored and tired la. food and good company does wonders, it's true! lunched with joanne, her intern friend and mingyin at BK. i love mushroom swiss and fun conversations! :)
when you don't think about it, time actually passes by really quickly.... but once you think about it, the minute hand moves like its made of lead. okay not a very good analogy here, but you get my drift!
i'm settling down really fine here at DHL, it's amazing what difference a few weeks can make. the first few weeks i guess i was still struggling with the working hours and the drastic change in sleeping habits... but now after about a month, i'm pretty used to it! and the people here are really friendly and nice, so that's defintely a plus point. of course, it actually helps if i'm friendly and nice myself too. my motto thereof is not to burn any bridges. hahaha go figure :)
and oh, Chinese New Year - which went by in a flash! i had great fun though, it was interesting hanging out with the boyfriend's family doing all the visitations... and receiving all the extra angbaos :D we headed to JB to visit his father's oldest brother, and they had firecrackers! it was my 1st time ever in such close contact with real firecrackers and hearing them go off in all its glory. haha. and of course, spending time with the boyfriend and receiving LOTS of angbaos, it was all good :) but two days are TOO short la, we should get 3 days of public holidays instead.
and then there was the CNY gathering at Dennis's place, the *ahem* happily newly attached guy. we played Wii and Left4Dead !! i am so intrigued by the latter - after all i have always been into gory movies about zombies! i think i may be heading to play it someday with the boyfriend :D maybe on V-Day ? i think it'll be a first for couples to play some computer game together on V-Day. Hah!
okay i just left this window open for like two hours and right now i'm so not in the mood to blog anymore. so, later!

where it blooms
so let me be
a wild flower
its death shall be
the fading of beauty
