was talking to my sister over dinner last evening, and the idea of being a christian rebel seemed pretty cool to us me (updated: just me - my sister wants to clarify that the idea is not cool to her (:

just that i'll be too chicken to ever try that out, and anyway i don't think deep enough and neither do i see a need to question every and anything like one of our mutual friends who toes the line in almost everything - whom we both agree is so cool but probably too cool for us. (especially for me, we even went out on a couple of dates and i did enjoy the very interesting conversations we had but long-term wise.... is another matter!)

and at the end of the day i suppose, it isn't the intelligent and deep questions asked that will save your life, but simple faith that will.

ohh but i still love him as a brother-in-Christ and a very interesting friend to keep for life... :)

my colleague's last day is the end of this month and how i wish it was mine as well sigh.... haha. anyway she'll be dearly missed by all, yes, even by me. she's this really cool (pardon my limited vocab this morning...) ABC whom is really genuine and outspoken and whom i can look up to like an elder sister around the office. wishing her all the best! her absence will be sorely felt around the office - i like her accent and i won't get to hear her anymore after April...

speaking of last day, i still have about 2 months more left as an intern here - that's about 9 weeks plus to go. but i'm kinda done with counting down 'cos the more conscious you are of time, the slower it passes. AND i'm really, really missing school like crazy. hahaha i know people will say i'm crazy for saying this. but next sem my sister will be in ntu with me too! and it'll be the first sem that jonnie and i will be in ntu at the same time as a couple... yayness.

new malls have been sprouting up and around town, and it's so coincidental that one is where i live (tampines one) and the other where i work (iluma @ bugis). seriously i think the two malls are by the same owner or something and he must be really raking in the money!

however, iluma (what does it stand for anyway, short for "i love you, ma"??) is like a ghost town most of the time - i was just there last evening with my sister and the crowd is... not even a crowd. and i'm SO disappointed that there is NO POOL OR KBOX at tampines one!! i mean that's like what my friends and i have been waiting for ever since they tore down the old building 3 years ago ggrr. so what if you have Topshop or Dorothy Perkins.... what we want is a place to play some pool and sing karaoke at tampines! we have more than enough shops lah, seriously. now must travel to downtown east for pool or kbox. what a waste of time.

i can't believe today is Thurs already though, the week is really zooming by. soon it'll be the weekends, and pay-day! tralala.
