for the 2nd year in a row i did not manage to get get my manicure done before CNY. i drove out on CNY eve, hours before reunion dinner, to the nearest (and cheapest) manicure place i knew, but it was fully booked. i mean, of course right! my bad time management and last minute-ness never fail to amuse/ annoy me. and now, for a 2nd year in a row i think i'll be getting a manicure after the festivities. better late than never!

also i just had a piece of bahkwa which was (almost) infested with ants 'cos i have been craving for it the whole day today and hansel happened to be in the pantry trying to clear his box of bahkwa which was crawling with ants. *note: the ants DID NOT touch the bahkwa they were merely crawling outside at the packaging. so since hansel was trying to rescue his bahkwa and offered me one piece how could i resist right!

also my 16gb iPhone and i have been happily together for about 2 weeks plus or so now, the matrimony is really good i never imagined that i would ever be an Apple user but here i am. even though i did consider getting a Blackberry before instead but since my dad could get the iPhone for free so why not. i have never paid for any of my Apple products anyway ;D

also is it too late to make new year resolutions now i wonder, but the lunar new year is the beginning of the zodiac year and this is my year right (even though of 'cos i don't believe in such things such as fortune or superstition) so i reckon i can do whatever i want. i think resolutions can be made anytime as long as you feel convicted to do so becos it is an attempt to better your life!

things do seem to be looking up and i'm not afraid to say it out loud, but things could definitely be better if my eyes stop giving me issues and miraculously become perfect or if i could wear contact lens without problems and if i stop missing lessons (3 weeks in a row!) and be more conscientious in my schoolwork and work on my resume and maybe, just maybe go look around for a job or two (this is just so to give some assurance to the people around me that i do not plan to become a lazy bum after graduation).

... a wild flower dies
where it blooms

so let me be
a wild flower

its death shall be
the fading of beauty
