sitting in the bus the other day i had an epiphany, something simple really, but profound to me all the same: each bus i board is a conscious choice on my part to bring me to my destination. each and every bus stop alone has many buses stopping - it's which bus i choose to board. sure, some buses will go the same route for awhile but ultimately its route and its destination would be different. the job i pick, the guy i choose to be with, every little nuance and decision in my life is slowly but surely culminating to the life i would ultimately lead, and the life i would ultimately find myself in. but unlike taking a bus ride, in life we won't and can't possibly know where or who we will end up with - we can only trust and have faith that everything will turn out as best as it can possibly be, and in the meantime, enjoy one heck of a bus ride.
